Microsoft and Walmart unite to acquire TikTok

And since US President Donald Trump announced the time limit granted to the company that developed the Chinese application before liquidating all its activities on US soil according to the executive order issued a few days ago, news has spread indicating the desires of major American and global technology companies to acquire the TikTok application in America, on top of it. Both Microsoft, which was the first to enter this battle, and then Twitter.

Oracle, in turn, entered the competition to acquire TikTok, which was welcomed by US President Donald Trump, as the president answered a question from a reporter after a speech in Arizona last week about when asked about his preference for purchasing TikTok, he said, "I think Oracle is a great company and I think its owner is a great guy and a great guy. I think Oracle will definitely be able to handle that. "

But the surprise was the announcement by the Wall Street Journal that the Chinese application developer ByteDance had entered into contact with some officials of the Netflix platform to assess the possibility of the latter's acquisition of the activities of the Chinese TikTok application, before Netflix rejected this Chinese offer due to the accumulated debts on the platform and the large investment Necessary for this, but it seems that things have returned to the first point with Microsoft entering again on the line, but this time with a bilateral offer with Walmart, as the latter announced in an official statement.

Walmart is an American retail company that is the largest in the world by revenue, and the company said in its statement that it is interested in the capabilities of TikTok to integrate e-commerce and advertising in a way that benefits creators and users in other markets.
