How do you transfer your files from the phone to the computer directly without a cable or install any applications on the phone?

Now, you may know that there is an app called Photos Companion for Android and iOS to allow you to wirelessly transfer photos / videos from iPhone and Android devices to a Windows 10 computer. The problem with the official Photos Companion app is that it is not possible to transfer photos and videos To computers running Windows 7 or Windows 8 / 8.1. Plus, you cannot transfer files other than photos and videos even if you are on an Android device, so today we will learn about another great program that will solve all these problems for you.

The program is named ScanTransfer and is available for Windows 10/8/7. ScanTranfer transfers files from Android and iPhone to Windows 10 via WiFI. Meaning you do not need a cable or anything else whether the phone and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

ScanTransfer is a free program for Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7 designed to enable you to transfer photos and videos (all types of files from Android) from an Android device and from iPhone to a Windows 10/8/7 computer via Wi-Fi. In short, you can wirelessly transfer files from Android and iPhone devices to a Windows computer.

The best thing about ScanTransfer is that you don't need to install any app on an Android or iOS device. You just need to install the program on your computer. On your smartphone, you can use the default camera app to scan the QR code that appears on your computer when ScanTransfer starts.

ScanTransfer transfers files over your local network. This means that you do not have to worry about data privacy as the files are not uploaded to any remote location. Secondly, this does not consume internet throughput as files are only transferred over the local network. Moreover, you can transfer large files in no time.

Note that you can transfer all kinds of files as well as photos and videos from an Android device using ScanTransfer. However, from your iPhone, you can only transfer photos and videos due to Apple's operating system limitations.
